Uptown Mama: Redding, California, United States; My name is Cathy. Thank you for visiting my blog! I am a proud Mother of three children and three grandkids. I have a home based company named Uptown Mama. I started my business in 2005 primarily making custom children's clothing. My passion making quilts for children that have been removed from their homes due to abuse or parental drug abuse. The company I support is called IT IS MY VERY OWN. We supply Bags Of Love which hold a soft, new Quilt, new stuffed animal, toys and personal items such as tooth brush & tooth paste. These Bags Of Love become a very important part of the children's lives because most leave their homes with nothing.
